Hey, Frank here with my quick synopsis of ACL Fest Weekend Two. To be honest, I didn’t go the entire three days. With less old school urban acts that years past, there were slimmer pickings at the 2021 Austin City Limits Music Festival. But that didn’t mean it was absent of an outstanding time.
Erykah happening on Friday (instead of Week One’s Sunday Badu showing) was a nice change for Weekend Two.
I just want it to be, you and me…Like it used to be, baby. But ‘cha don’t know how to act…so matter fact. I think you better call Tyroneeeeeee. 😎 @fatbellybella

And following up Erykah was another Texan (Badu originally from Dallas. Houston’s finest, Tina Snow aka Meagan Thee Stallion was a hit.

Saturday and Sunday wasn’t super particularly my vibe. Once treated to acts like Ice Cube, Nelly and others – there was a younger skew to the urban options this year. That isn’t a bad thing, just not ideal for a more narrow music fan like myself.
That being said, I’m super excited for what 2022 brings at Zilker.
