Kendrick Lamar shared on Twitter a new website titled “oklama.com,” which he also confirmed as the title of an upcoming new album. The website oklama.com features a folder titled “nu thoughts,” which reveals a written statement from Lamar announcing his next studio album, signed as “oklama.” Lamar also refers to it as his “final TDE album,” referring to his partnership with Top Dawg Entertainment. There has been no confirmation regarding a release date, though Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, CEO and founder of Top Dawg Entertainment, wrote, “With this being Dot’s last album on TDE, this is more of a VICTORY LAP, a celebration. I know he will be successful in whatever it is he decides to do and will have our FULL support.”
Lamar has been quiet about any new musical projects since DAMN was released in 2017; however, rumors started circulating that Kendrick may working on new music when it was confirmed in June that he would be heading the Day N Nite Festival in Las Vegas this coming November.
